Dr. Eric Saunders is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. His specialties include:

Dr. Saunders’ Training

Dr. Saunders received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed a residency in radiation oncology at Vanderbilt and the University of California Los Angeles. He also completed a radiobiology fellowship at Vanderbilt, where he studied the effects of radiation damage on cells in vitro.

About Dr. Saunders

Dr. Saunders is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

During his medical training at Vanderbilt, he studied the effects of damage on cells in vitro as part of a radiobiology fellowship. He spent four years in the U.S. Navy as the division head for radiation oncology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California, and served as an assistant clinical professor in radiation oncology at the University of California San Diego.

Outside of work, Dr. Saunders enjoys golf and traveling.
